Midland road wideners are specialized machines designed to place material to the side of a lane and spread at a specified profile. Base aggregate, binder layers, or final top coat hot mix (up to 350 deg. F.) can be spread from 12 above to 12 in. below grade with the modular blade from 1 to 10 ft. wide.
